Rumors got drawn up today that Flyers defensemen Travis Sanheim is close to reaching a agreement with the Flyers, and general manager Chuck Fletcher. Sanheim is on the last year of his current contract before he becomes a unrestricted free agent, meaning he becomes available to all 32 teams if Chuck Fletcher does not reach a agreement.
Thankfully, Fletcher has officially signed Sanheim to a 8 year contract with a average of $6.25 million per season.
The same amount of earnings that Calgary Flames defensemen McKenzie Weegar earns.
