Flyers organization and Penn Medicine team up for health commercial.

For the past number of years, prostate cancer awareness has become one of the forefront cancer screening tests to be done.

In a smart yet amusing commercial, the Flyers Charities has teamed up with Penn Medicine Abramson cancer centre and Flyers in arena host Everett Jackson on getting the word out. They will be offering free prostate screenings for men over the age of 45.

I decided to get my first blood test done early when I crossed the age of 40. Early detection and awareness are the best weapons against this form of cancer as it can go undetected for a long time before it's too late.

I hope the NHL decides to push this message to other organizations to help get the message across.
