The Philadelphia Flyers pulled off a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday morning.

It can be argued that it was more of an AHL deal as Barratt played for the Rockford Ice Hogs and the player going to the Blackhawks organization from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms is Cooper Zech.
Barratt, 23, of Bristol, PA, USA was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks with the 90 overall selection in the 2017 NHL Draft.

After his draft year, Barratt played three seasons for the University of Pennsylvania from 2017-18 to 2019-20. The forward played 98 games, scoring 39 goals, 56 assists for 95 total points.
He, then graduated to professional hockey in 2020-21 playing for the Blackhawks farm team - The Rockford Ice Hogs. Over 92 games, Barratt accumulated 19 goals, 23 assists for his first 42 points.
He seems like the prototypical John Tortorella player. Only time will tell.
