The Philadelphia Flyers have a massive week coming up as it begins in Philly on Monday before they travel to Florida to take on top Eastern Conference talents in the Florida Panthers and the Tampa Bay Lightning to wrap up the week. As the Flyers look to continue to push towards the playoffs, it looks like the Flyers will be receiving a major boost to their lineup in the coming week.

2023-24 All-Star and points leader for this season Travis Konecny has missed the last six games and the Flyers have felt the effects greatly, dropping games against the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Washington Capitals. As the Flyers desperately are needing help with injuries, Konecny is expected to make his return at some point this week.
Monday morning was a big step and great progress for Konecny as he was participating in Flyers practice on the ice in Voorhees, NJ, wearing the yellow non-contact jersey for today.

On Friday night, the Flyers announced the Konecny was close to a return, hinting that Konecny could return as possible as tonight against the St. Louis Blues, but head coach John Tortorella cleared that up this morning as he met with the media and said Konecny remains out for tonight's game.
Konecny's return comes at a much needed time as the Flyers hit the road to take on two Eastern Conference teams who have been firing on all-cylinders as of late as they face off against the Panthers on Thursday night and the Lightning on Saturday night.
In 57 games this season, the 26-year-old right wing has racked up 54 points on an even 27 goals and 27 assists. Konecny is on pace to have the best season of his career thus far, and is proving to be a mainstay in the Flyers organization as he was recently named alternate captain by his head coach.
