Flyers GM Daniel Briere has finally given an update regarding 3 key defensemen that have been out of the lineup for the past few weeks due to injury.
Briere told reporters that Nick Seeler is almost fully healthy and may even be back this weekend. Jamie Drysdale is approaching his return to the lineup but is not as close to retuning as Seeler. The unfortunate news comes regarding Rasmus Ristolainen as it was said they think he may not be able to come back.
Danny Briere on Seeler, Drysdale, and Risto: "Seeler is getting closer. Small chance this weekend, maybe after this weekend. Drysdale is getting better and better, but not as close as Seeler is. Risto in his case we are not sure if he will be able to come back."
Hopefully fans will see Seeler back in the lineup this weekend and Drysdale in the next week or so. As for Ristolainen, all fans can do is hope Briere is wrong and that he will be back on the ice soon.
