Sean Couturier drops the gloves

In last nights game, there was not much good to come from it, from a Flyers perspective. They lost a game to a team that is close to them in the standings and it was not even close. However, something did happen that you do not see often as a Flyers fan and that's Sean Couturier dropping the gloves.
Sean Couturier is fighting???
This was Sean Couturier first time dropping the gloves since the 2019-2020 preseason, however if you exclude preseason, he hasn't been in a fight in over 6 years. He happen to fight Lightning's defenseman Matt Dumba, who has over twice as many fights in career as Sean Couturier. The fight most likely happen to give the Flyers energy as they were down 4-0 quickly as they started the game completely flat. However, there seem to be a lot of frustration coming from the Flyers as even Cam Atkinson dropped the gloves in his first career fight. The Flyers will be back in action Tuesday night against the San Jose Sharks in Philadelphia.
