The Philadelphia Flyers have a lot of top prospects and one of their collegiate prospects Massimo Rizzo has been named a Second Team All-American for the 2023-24 campaign, per Dylan H. Robillard .

#LetsGoFlyers prospect Massimo Rizzo has been named a Second Team All-American for the 2023-24 campaign by the American Hockey Coaches Association.

Rizzo was one of three players of this age group to repeat as an All-American after also picking up Second-Team honors last season.

Massimo Rizzo plays for the University of Denver and on the year, Massimo Rizzo has played in 29 games with 10 goals and 34 assists for a total of 44 points. Massimo Rizzo was originally drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 7th round (216th overall). The Flyers then acquired him last summer (along with a 2025 fifth-round pick), the Flyers traded David Kase to the Hurricanes in return. Massimo Rizzo will be 23 years old at the start of next season, so we could very well see him on the roster very soon.
