The Flyers head coach John Tortorella was ejected barely 10 minutes into last nights game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Since the ejection, the Flyers CEO, Dan Hilferty has told Al Morganti, that he would cover any fine.

"I'm really proud of Torts for standing up for his/our team," he said. "This new era of orange is about having each other's backs. Last night, Torts had our collective backs. I respect any action the league might feel a need to take but if it includes a fine, I am paying it."

As we saw last night, and as Dan Hilferty stated, John Tortorella has his players backs and it looks like the Flyers CEO has his head coach's back and will cover any fine that may come from this ejection. John Tortorella who has been fined 12 times in his career has yet to receive a fine for his ejection, but we know who will cover it, if one is.
